I had my exposure on July 7 & took a rapid finger prick test on August 6 & got a negative result back. I’m don’t feel comfortable with those results after reading up on it and seeing that may have been the window period & could’ve been a false negative. So if I rapid finger prick test tomorrow at 53 days post exposure would that be a good indicator of my status? Or would it still be too early?
12 weeks or 90 days post exposure is the window period for a rapid test. As you were told previously, get a 4th generation duo test now for a conclusive result or wait the full 90 days for a conclusive result with the rapid test.
