Will the medicine Yasmin(Drospirenone) influence the result of the HIV test?
Dear Dr. I'm a female from China, I want to know whether the medicine Drospirenone influence the result of the HIV test. And I also want to know what kind of medicine can delay the window phase?
Nothing you would have to worry about unless you're on chemotherapy. Otherwise there are no medicines that influence an HIV test.
I've been taken the Drospirenone for about two years, and before I had the HIV test, I also had taken some skin disease medicine, will these medicine influence the test?
