Worried about test

Hello everyone I know you don't like repeat questions on here so I apologize ahead of time. Today my wife gave blood at her OBGYN to test for everything. I heard my baby's heart beat today but the 2 protected sexual encounters I had with a sex worker a year ago was all I could think about.  I can't stop thinking about it. I know I have OCD I am in counseling for it and my therapist knows the entire story and said you messed up don't do it again but you wore a condom you protected yourself. But them my OCD kicks in and 1000 scenarios go through my head. did I put the condom on right did I take it off right etc... I know I wore a condom, I checked them both times with water after no leaks, I even asked her about her status both times and she said she was clean both times and each time was under 30 seconds. I guess I really want to know is it possible to have protected sex with a sex worker and not contract HIV if she is positive.  I mean I had sex with her twice it was protected but I am still so nervous. My wife is pregnant... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Thank you for your response. And my wife just gave blood yesterday because she is pregnant so they will be testing for all std's. I'm just so worried because of the baby. So since it was protected you think the results will be negative for hiv?

protected vaginal sex means no risk, and as you asserted, the condom did not malfunction. there is no need to test in this scenario.
if you feel you cannot accept this, then you might consider taking an hiv test (as all sexually active and responsible people should every so often anyway). it will be negative i can assure you.
