Worried sick

Hi, I used the oraquick home testing kit at 6 weeks and 3 months post exposure. I swabbed the top part and then took the swab out my mouth before swabbing the bottom part of my mouth. Would this contribute to a false negative? The control line turned pink on both and came put negative, i called oraquick's customer care and they told me that the test was valid. Although I had a canker sore on the side of my tongue and then a white roundish substance grew on top of it after the canker healed, could it be OHL? Please help. Thank you

Thanks for the response. Because I've read about the instances of false negatives and this little white patch is making me nervous
