Was just at the doctor. Got my HIV test given.
He has looked at my throat. Have an almond inflammation and a thick neck lymph nodes on. That makes me really ready.
Your 3 months post exposure test will be conclusive.
For me it is somewhat unclear why I within 6 weeks (1 to 7 weeks after risk contact) had many health problems.
Hello back from Germany!
Your Symptomes can caused by a lot of thinks and they are not relay HIV Symptomes.
Like Rainlover71 is saying, go and get Tested at 4 Weeks and then 8 Weeks later again. If you go to the (Gesundheitsamt) in Germany the Test will be anonym and for free. There you will get a 4th Generationtest which inkl. the p24!
At 4 Weeks the Test is very accurate.

Have for next week, finally a doctor's appointment for an HIV test.
The risk of contact is now 7 weeks ago. The test is hopefully almost certain?
Since yesterday I feel my neck hurt from the outside. pain on the left and right thyroid it to the touch.
Does that fit into the overall picture of acute HIV infection?
your "symptoms" are NOT hiv related
I have unfortunately not yet dared to go to the doctor for an HIV test.
Bausch my pain was gone after 3 weeks.
From the second Week I had a severe bladder weakness. 12-15 times I was on the toilet. No diarrhea. Even that was after the fourth Weeks away again.
Blood after 17 days was without abnormalities. Urine sample after 25 days without findings.
've Got now, after almost 5 weeks a sore throat a bit.
And today, after 37 days I had rash on the forearms of the morning was again after 1-2 hours away.
I know the certainty of bringing only a test. But to fit the symptoms of HIV infection?
wait 4 weeks and take a DUO test.It won't be conclusive but it will provide you with great relief if it's negative.Danke!
only a test... designed to detect hiv...will tell one's status.
3 months will be conclusive
nor an addendum:
Yesterday came my blood values. My blood count is full kommenn normal. No leucocytes. Infection crp value is blank. The doctor believes this is a good indication that there is no acute HIV infection. But no proof. We take an HIV test in 2 weeks.
Tells you agree?
little addendum:
Was just at the doctor. He examined me. no swollen lymph nodes. He starts from a bladder infection or appendicitis.
No they are not typical for HIV ARS.
If lymph nodes swell as a result of HIV they are usually wide spread and not located in just one area, in addition you would more than likely have more 'common' ARS symptoms - that is why it is caused a syndrome (a collection of symptoms)
Not typical.Classic ARS symptoms are; very high fever, very sore throat and rash on trunk--torso and limbs.
Allow me one question:
Are my symptoms typical or not typical for HIV?
Yes a duo test at this point does make sense and I would advise you to get one.
If you receive a negative at that point it is highly unlikley in the extreme that your test result will change if you then retest at 12 weeks to obtain a conclusive results.
Duo tests taken at around 4 weeks are a reliable indicator of your status.
Do you consider the symptoms of the type and the typical period for HIV?
When I'm at 3.5 weeks a duo-test, that makes sense?
Your symptoms are not specific to HIV. You can receive your conclusive negative test result 3 months post exposure.
