Hi doctor I am an anxiety sufferer and I worrying constantly about HIV
I split up with my boy friend in January and had a HIV test in march at 9 weeks a duo test and another duo at 11 weeks and three days and they were both negative and a normal full blood count which was also normal my doctor and people at the clinic have assured me that I am definately fine but I am still constantly worried as I now have thrush and have had it twice now can you please reassure me please so I can get on with my life

a conclusive test result is obtained at 3 months post exposure.  with that being said...your test at 11 weeks - 3 days is NOT going to change.

if you are having health concerns, work with your dr...its NOT hiv related.

accept your negative status and move on with our life.

your combination of tests (HIV Duo test at 9 weeks and 11 weeks and 3 days) should prove totally that you are HIV free, HIV Duo test is reliable at 4 - 6 weeks so you have long passed over this line. :)
