acute symptoms?

my situation is this:
I am living with someone who has aids, they just recently were diagnosed and are now recieving treatment. i shared a thermometer with this person, i also had protected sex with a person M/M.. three weeks ago...thier HIV status is not know to me. one week ago i was diagnosed with accute bronchitus (used thermometer to see if i had any signs of fever)...i have no fever nor have i had a fever, or any temp above 99.1
i began Anzithromycin @ 250 mg (5 day plan), since treatment i have began getting mild hives and now have a cold sore in my mouth, i also realize that one of the side effects of Anzithromyicin is rash, but the rash is non localized and is similar to hear rash apearing lightly on arms and chest.
im worry and my fear is that i some how may have contracted HIV as rash is one of the symptoms

...am i blowing things out of proportion given the known side effects to the medication i am/was on...it has been two days and the rash has not gone away...should i order up an HIV RNA Test to be safe?

They usually don't say much until after the class is over. Then I get bombarded with questions. Now teaching at colleges is a little different. There is a lot of questions asked during the lecture and after class.

Doesn't change a thing, you still did not have a risk.

a. you are having protected sex....no risk
b. the thermometer scenario carries no risk..saliva is not infectious.
c. never go by symptoms.

Therefore the logical deduction is that you had no risk.
