at risk or not for HIV?

Dear Sir,

I'm a male of 51 years of age and had sex with a woman I know as a female friend since 12 years, we have had only protected sex three times. We are both married and not known with any STD's, we don't have intercourse with other partners. We have unprotected sex with our daily partners ( married both for more than 15 years ) and would like to stay married.
Now my situation; last time we had sex I used a condom where the package maybe not vacuum as there was a little tear at the top. We had sex anally well lubricated and I didn't see any damage afterwards. Two days later I was still concerned took the condom out of the bin and tested it with water; first I saw no hole in the beginning but later after putting a lot of pressure one hole and later more holes at least 5cm's from the tip. Can I have sex with my wife now?

being exposed and sitting in the trash can damage the integrity of a condom.

condom failure is catastrophic…if it had failed during intercourse…it would have failed BIG TIME ! ! !

you had NO risk from protected sex

thanks for your quick answer, I think you are right as it has been there a while with quite some sharp objects like broken cups, torn plastic packages, etc. Moreover the bin has been turned over and searched through by our labradors
I have to say I'm a bit worrying type.

I was only worried about the integrity of the condom: maybe dried out a bit as it seemed to be when I did put it on.

It didn't fail, so you never had a exposure.

I think I'm gonna sleep well tonight

Just one other question I took off the condom and just a little later I did put on new one, I don't know if there were still some secretions on my fingers, what is the chance to be infected?

Not a HIV concern.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child

During this session she used a sextoy on her clitoris and after that she used it on my scrotum and base of my penis. After about 6 to 8 minutes she decided to inserted in my anus. It didn't work so we needed to use a lubricate. Hiv risk?

Maybe I was not clear but after 6 to 8 minutes she inserted it with lubrification in my anus. Does this change your opinion?

No.

Teak; how you can reassure people. Thanks again.
