blood test

As well , i had a general blood test done about 4 weeks ago, and it came back with a normal level of white blood cells. That would mean well past 6 weeks after the possible exposure, my blood test came back normal. it was not an hiv specific test, but does that mean i am safe or not?

No it doesn't mean your are safe. If you had unprotected anal or vaginal sex you need to have an HIV test. Test at 3 months post exposure and your test will be conclusive.
