See your doctor for your throat if it concerns you.

You may have developed "Burning Mouth Syndrome" BMS.  It is an offshoot from anxiety, depression, CFS, Chronic fatigue syndrome.... (google it)

Anyone that has undergone a tremendous amount of anxiety can suffer from the above, and all the above can lead to BMS. Anxiety seems to be have some pretty bad side effects, and depending on many factors, the effects can last for a very long time.

I had BMS for a while, but it seems to have gone away....  now I got pain in my hands and feet, and muscle soreness in my neck...  possibly firbromyalgia...    again all tied in with anxiety, depression, fatigue....   I look so forward to getting over these 3 months.   I thought I could tolerate anything for 12 weeks!

Yea, if you have some ambien, take a little of it and see if your BMS subsides. If it does, odds are high that you really do have BMS. It is neuralogically based.

I found it moves around, roof of mouth, back of throat, toungue, to lips... sometimes more of a numbess, tingle sensation to a burning sensation. When it subsides, all I have to do is think of something negative and I can feel it starting to come back.
