can't get my head round it!!!

I have posted here before.

On the 19th of December, I perormed oral sex on a guy of unknown hiv status.

I was subsequently tested after 95 days - lab blood anti-body test and at 123 days post exposure with a rapid test called the unigold recombin. Both were negative.

I am still really paranoid about hiv because at three months I got nasty cold and a sore throat. I still have raised glands in my neck and the back of my neck is stiff three weekas after the disappearance of the other symptoms.

. Could the tests have got it wrong??

Any advice would be appreciated!!

"I had a risky exposure with someone I didn't know"

Oral sex is not a risky exposure,  In fact, it isn't an exposure at all.  You can read numerous discussions about this very topic here and in the expert forum on this site.

That's very reassuring of you to say this but why do you say I don't need testing?

I had a risky exposure with someone I didn't know.

Also, what about my neck nodes that are still up. What could be causing those?? I am usually pretty healthy!

1.  You never needed testing to begin with.

2.  Since you DID get tested...believe the results, they don't lie.
