Look, what Teak and others are trying to get you to realize is that when you use condoms consistently (every single time) and correctly (all the way through sex with no breakage) then they are HIGHLY effective against HIV infection. The CDC or no other company can ever say a condom is 100% because that would open them up to many lawsuits if a person was to say that their condom didn't break and they caught HIV. If you're having sex with someone and the condom doesn't break and it's intact at the end of the sex act then you didn't get exposed to HIV. Period point blank. Hope me breaking it down Barney style helps you.

http://www.cdc.gov/condomeffectiveness/latex.htm
Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Including HIV Infection, Latex condoms, when used consistently and correctly, are highly effective in preventing the sexual transmission of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. In addition, consistent and correct use of latex condoms reduces the risk of other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including diseases transmitted by genital secretions, and to a lesser degree, genital ulcer diseases. Condom use may reduce the risk for genital human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and HPV-associated diseases, e.g., genital warts and cervical cancer.

Laboratory studies have demonstrated that latex condoms provide an essentially impermeable barrier to particles the size of STD pathogens.

Consistent and correct use of the male latex condom reduces the risk of sexually transmitted disease (STD) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) transmission. However, condom use cannot provide absolute protection against any STD. The most reliable ways to avoid transmission of STDs are to abstain from sexual activity, or to be in a long-term mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner.  However, many infected persons may be unaware of their infection because STDs often are asymptomatic and unrecognized.......
1)However, condom use cannot provide absolute protection against any STD is written here....ten how can u say tat condom is more than 100% safe?

Let me post what CDC has to say about condoms :
" Latex condoms, when used consistently and correctly, are highly effective in preventing heterosexual sexual transmission of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Research on the effectiveness of latex condoms in preventing heterosexual transmission is both comprehensive and conclusive. "
http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/qa/prevention.htm

CONSISTENTLY and CORRECTLY are the key words here. If your condom didn't break during sex, you are more than 100% safe.
