condom slipped HIV?
About 3 weeks ago I did the dumbest thing in my life. For the first time ever, I visited a brothel and had sex with two CSW. On both occasions the condom slipped but I quickly pulled out on realizing this, and both times the condom was hanging outside the vagina. On one of the incidences I replaced the condom and continued to have sex till I was done and on the 2nd incidence (with the other CSW) she seemed quite spooked by the condom slippage and only proceeded to jack me off after I replaced the condom. Exactly 8 days after the incident I notice clear sticky discharge after I pass urine. This did not happen everytime just once in a while. Needless to say I began to freak out big time! I would sometimes also notice a slight tingle at the tip of my penis that lasted for a split second, my frequency of passing urine did not change. On the same 8th day my neck and area behind my ears became extremely sore almost painful, which I believe was swelling of lymph nodes. The glands at the corner of my jaw became easily palpable to this day (day 24 post exposure) but I couldn't palpate other nodes on the neck. Maybe I'm just not doing it right cause the soreness is real and it definitely isn't my muscles. Same day 8 I started having really bad stomach cramps with on and off diarrhea that lasted a week. I also noticed a small lymph node on the right side of my groin that grew to about one cm by day 14. I decided to see a doctor and after explaining my symptoms he prescribed 1 gram of azythromycin and suggested I do HIV test 3 months post exposure. Here I am on day 24, no more discharge, no tingle and the groin lymph node however still palpable has reduced in size. However my neck and area behind my ears still feel sore (though not like before) and my glands at the corner of the jaw can still be palpated. Also for the past 2 nights I have had night sweats. I am currently at the point of loosing my mind. My armpits once in a while feel sore but no obvious lymph nodes can be felt. Again maybe I'm not checking correctly. Anyway my biggest concern is I definitely got UTI even though my penis head was covered. What are chances I als got HIV infected? Anxiety is getting the better of me. Folks, don't ever solicit sex from CSW's...its like playing Russian roulette with a half loaded weapon!!
Yesterday I finally gave in to my wife's sexual advances.I pretty much ran out of excuses as to why I didn't want to have sex,plus I had started convincing myself that my symptoms weren't HIV related. Now I think I made a very bad move. Last night I discovered a swollen right supraclavicular lymph node. My neck is still sore. I am having night sweats and now I can feel an onset of a sore throat. The lymph node in my groin and those underneath my jaw are still very palpable. Now that I've had sex with my wife, I am scared to poke underneath my armpits lest I discover more lymph nodes. I am mortified to say the least. If things go south and it turns out I infected my wife I won't be able to live with myself. I can barely function right now. Thanks for all the support. At this point I will just have to wait and test.
Thank you for the prompt response. You say I had no exposure but I did get a UTI of some sort which then throws me into confusion. I plan to test 6 weeks post exposure then at 12 weeks. Should I do the 6 week test or just wait till week 12? I am stressing really bad unlike the usual calm and composed person I've always been. How do lymph nodes manifest in HIV and how do I correctly check for neck and armpit nodes? Thanks for your response.
