did many people with many (ca. 10 ) symptopms turned out negative

Hi

I did post on this forum and i did go to doctors as well as mental help but i just can et it go, I'm sorry (Teak and LL)...

I am heterosexual male and had encounter with sex worker who turned out to be HIV+, theoretically safe sex in condom (did not brake of slip of but might have been misused in other way)

it's end of my 8th week since exposure

I realize I am extremely stressed out but I do have so many symptoms

I had sore throat

I lost almost 10% of y body weight (try to eat normally now and still not gaining weight - I've always been slim in general and did not gain weight easily but still that's a )

I have diarrheas since 1,5 weeks

small skin changes and sometimes itching penis

rapid changes of blood preasure and body temperature

I had larger and painful lymph  for some time

painful back

short breath

waking up at night (probably attributed to stress)

small rushes on skin

skin less resistant to cuts (i found a couple of cuts that I absolutely have no idea where they came from)

how many of you had that many symptoms in first months and turned out to be negative

I am asking cause i had HIV test in 3,5 weeks and 6 weeks  both negative but now i have to collect the 8 weeks test and I am to scared to pick it up - I am about to start new job and I know if I pickup positive result now I will not be able to focus on the job so perhaps lets wait till 4-5 months I will not have sex anyway and it will be easier to focus on the job hoping I am negative

some symptoms come and some go most of them are within
does having many symptoms mean HIV will develop more rapidly wihin my body

do you think that you are the only worried well to have "all the symptoms"?????  you're not.

you need to take your issues to the anxiety forum.  there is nothing that we can do for you here.  you had a NO RISK situation.  this is a hiv forum and you DO NOT HAVE A HIV CONCERN.  we are not a psychological counseling service here.  we are here to judge your risk and you have been told that you do not have one.  we are not here to babysit and the drama needs to stop.  MOVE ON!!!!!

you're right as long as i will have 3months conclusive i will not let it go - it's mental condition but I just can approach it rationally before I get negative and nobody can help me or reassure me the reason for this is i have 10 symptoms and that's really a lot, especially my rapid weight lost and yellow feet (hepatitis coinfection?)  scares me as i eat normally

Until then i can only pray to God for negative

thanks for the support though

You never had a risk.  No one will help you or understand you on this website or any other website.  You just need to hear that you are okay and you are.  Having protective sex means that you never had a real cause to be concerned and it makes you sound a bit off mentally.  People might think your crazy.  If the sex worker you had sex with was HIV+ then your fears are getting the best of you.  You need to let this go completely after reading this.  Get educated on how a person can really get infected and forget this episode.

Teak I really need to know

I have all the reasons to believe I am infected and my immune system is already week so perhaps infection is more rapid in my body
I also already have problem with my eyes catching infections very often so I am afraid I will soon lose seeing if contracted HIV

Finally I have superb pressure as I have to support my parents who spent all their money on educating me I just can't handle this situation and cannot move one bofre i will get 3 or 6 months conclusive negative

I am sorry!
