I know many people has ask the same question before, but please let me tell my story, I've kissed my BF for 3-4 times in januari-Feb 2016, Befor I didn't know if he has HIV, then he told me in march that He has HIV . I Know that there is not case of Hiv transmition by kissing. But things that make me worry is that in march I had a flu-like illness, do I need testing? how about thr risk of hiv transmision?

Deep kissing is still kissing and it's no risk. Before you ask, It doesn't matter if you had small cuts in your lips or you had bleeding gums. HIV is not like the flu, it requires some specific conditions to cause a infection and the mouth doesn't provide them.

Hope this helps.

Hello, your story doesn't have anything we haven't answered before. Nobody has gotten HIV by just kissing, sometimes the flu it's just the flu.

ARS symptoms are present in many other illnesses, that's why they can't be used to diagnose a posible HIV infection. When there's a risk involved only testing would be conclusive, but as you weren't exposed to any risk you don't requiere any testing.

Hope this helps.
