i need to be 100% sure teak i just got married and plan on starting a family with my new wife i do not want to infect her i have been having many symptoms that did not start until my exposure what test is the most accurate at detecting a/e strain?
There are no Types of HIV that take 6 months or 2 years. There are no subtypes that are easier transmitted from another. What might happen if left untreated some progress quicker to AIDS than others. Your test is conclusive and you do not have HIV.
yes i know that is true for subtype B and thats where all the studies of the us have done but there have been studies done in thailand and they say 6 months to 2 years and that cfr a/e is much more easily transmitted and instead of 1/2000 for inseruve vaginal intercourse its 1/40 are there any studies that you know of Teak that were done on cfr here in the us?
No. It's 3 months to obtain a conclusive test result.
is it true the window period for cfr a/e 6 months to 2 years?
Shows you that she doesn't know any thing about HIV. A/E (CFR) is HIV1 Group M.
im sorry Teak i di not mean to upset you i am telling the truth when i asked the nurse who gave me the test about crf a.e she said "it is able to pick it up but it mainly looks for hiv-1 group m" i then told her about my symtpoms and she said "if this doesnt pick it up and your symtpoms are still continuing calll back in one month and we will schedule a dna pcr test to be sure..... im confused teak i know you are a hiv expert do you know a lot about crf a/e?
That's total BS. OraQuick detects CFRs. MOVE ON.
