i got my 3 month test done a week ago today and still have not heard bak on them, although last Friday i had to get some more lad work done and the lab tech told me that my other results were in but they were not aloud to give out results. she said to get with the Dr., so i called and they said they had not recieved the results. I left another message Sat. and still no call. It has been 3 days since the lab tech said the results were back, i guess my question is could there be an underlying factor why the Dr. has not got the result? Do you think it might have been + and there running some other kind of test or would they have to let me know if that were the case? Are do you think the lad dropped the ball and just did not send the results to the Dr.?

the speed at which test results return depends entirely on the lab.  these tests are run in batches most of the time.

i can tell you that MY doctor would not be calling me "over the weekend" to give me test results.

I am sorry  it was a 6 week negative not a 12 week i had meant to put 6 intead of 12, I must hav been thinking about the 12 week test which i just took last Monday, but i can not figure out why the Dr. has not got my results? Thank you Lizzie for all your advice. I think it is just the fact of what ifs and might be that has alot of missinformed people ( including me ) worried so much and all the time, it is just that I was really waiting for this 3 mth. result before I could really try not to worry as much, and with the Dr. not getting the results from the lad I am just unsure. hhhuuummmmm...

you stated on december 10th that your 12 week test was negative.

kindly move on...you never had a risk to begin with and were advised accordingly
