Until the time (when medical science comes up with a vaccine), care is the only cure for HIV.
A vaccine is much more realistic then a cure.If an infected person starts ARV's early enough,then there is no reason why they won't live a normal life span.That being said,at the present time,prevention is the only cure.

That being said....a cure for HIV any time in the near future is highly likely.
This is also true for pretty much ANY viral infection. Viral infections are "managed", not cured. They are managed by treating and controlling symptoms and complications.
The common cold is a common viral infection and another example...there is no "cure"...only treatment of symptoms.
so far theirs no cure for hiv/aids there trying it on monkeys atlease thats what ive heard
