how to tell if glands are swollen............

How do you tell if glands are swollen? I can feel little bumps about the size of the tip of a ball point pen near my groin but I think this is just tissue which I can usually feel and I'm just being extra paranoid because of my exposure (unprotected sex)

I know the risk from a one night stand is not much (assuming the person even had HIV) but I'm still thinking about this every minute of the day.

I definitely still have swollen glands in my neck after my apparent throat infection. This is a week after I started feeling better, is this normal?

The only way to see if you have swollen lymph nodes is to have a doctor diagnose them.

I seem to be so much more paranoid about HIV than anyone I know. I do have OCD and suffer from anxiety which I know probably contributes towards my worrying.

I started feeling better last Thursday but the swollen lymph nodes have'nt gone down in my neck at all. I've read it can take a few weeks I hope this is right.

Just seems strange this started happening 3 days after I had unprotected sex, which I never ever ever normally do anyway!!!! So angry at myself. I've read from a lot of sources though that 3 days is too early for HIV symptoms

If all you can feel is like a pen tip then your groin lymphnodes are not swollen and your swollen throat glands are from your throat infection.

They say when you have early hiv if any glands will swell it will be all of them, groin, armpit, and throat. I would try not to worry about it too much (I know its hard to do when you have hiv phobia, which I have as well)

Go get tested at the right time and put the fear behind you.
