look what this site is saying !!! :(

A very tiny percentage of people with HIV infection – one in a hundred thousand – never seem to develop any antibodies at all.

Obviously a negative result offers you no guarantees for the future. So whatever the result of the test you need both to have safer sex (see Safer sex) and to avoid sharing needles and injecting equipment when injecting drugs (see Drug use).

I think if one cant except a conclusive result and spends so much time searching and searching for answers probably needs some kind of mental help to get past the OCD that has become a part of them...

Technology has come to far with testing and most of what people find are myths about HIV.. Best thing a person can do is stay away from any neagtive form until in their mind they can believe the results....

Sorry if I seem to be one that dosent show sensitive replies on this it really urks me to even see this post still here on the board it should of been taken down... Dont believe the HYPE!!

You do have a point, very much indeed-sometimes symptoms make people crazy. My only worry would be to think im clear and then unfortunately infect someone else thinking im okey.I think someone somewhere needs to put closure to this-because when i started being active (mainly by protected oral) i would not worry if i tested after 12 weeks and i was negative. When i had unprotected sex and got chlamidia and a range of REAL symptoms i.e candida, lymph nodes, fever  et al almost a year ago i  then started following the hiv rabit hole and realising it to be far more complicated than previously anticipated. As i said i would not want to move on and infect an inocent somebody.I read that there are drs who actually put symptomatic sero-negative people on hiv meds..it doesnt help to give us peace of mind.I sometimes wish someone had told me that i better not do it because i will have a mental break down because of the "scientific unknowns" i might discover here there and everywhere.... i think in sex education thy must not leave the psychological elements out ..they are the worst.

Um, after 3yrs u r fine! If u had immunoglobulin deficiency trust me I think it would have been detected or your annual blood test taken at the doctors yearly would have prob showed some issues in your blood count I'm assuming. In healthy ppl I was told HIV usuallu shows up within the first 25days..so the first month. So its been 3yrs for u! U most def don't have HIV.

WAKE UP CALL i stopped testing at 84 days that was 3 yrs ago I havent tested since and guess what I bet if I did its still negative.. Get over it and move on....

1)Its associated with immunoglobulin deficiency.
2)Also according to Dr HHH tests may fail to detect rare hiv types found in parts of Africa.

ive heard those claims before comming from an hiv handbook published by John Hopkins University...the top medical university in the US....this is not good this is where one must opt for a pcr or enquire on sexual history of ones partner and check the symptoms we are told dont count..
