you will get tired of me, I know

It has been three weeks since my episode of unprotected vaginal intercourse with a female I met via and internet dating service. Outside of the sleepless nights and my most recent decline into the bottom of a wine bottle that left me sleepless and hungover, I am now dealing with post nasal drip and minor headache. On Tuesday, I had my annual flu shot and also over the weekend I tried getting back to training and felt terrible, both on the bike-elevated heart rate and off, poor recovery along with upset stomach.

Before you "blackball" me, just tell me that I am being paranoid and that my "symptoms" are just that of a normal stress induced sinus issue.

You had a risk.  One time unprotected encounter with a woman.  Low risk.  Still, you need to test at 12 weeks.  Symptoms are meaningless.  Don't go on and on about them.  Stop searching the internet about them.  Anyway, nothing you describe by way of symptoms sounds like anything related to HIV.

Stay productively busy, get your test at 12 weeks.  Stop worrying. The odds are very much in your favor. Remember next time to always use condoms for anal/vaginal intercourse until such time as you are in a mutually monogamous relationship with someone who is conclusively HIV negative.  Pretty simple.

dear big dog,
unprotected vaginal sex puts at risk for hiv infection. Though probability of female to male transmission is low but still risk is there.
Stop searching on net for sypmptoms and get tested at 12 week for your solid result.
