mouth problems

i have a question why do we always read mouth problems are the first priblems that come in HIV for example furry tongue, white tongue, oral thrush, thick saliva and ulcers ext.? is this real? and is it true that they are the first signs of HIV infection?

there have been soooooooooooooo many ppl come to this site claiming white or furry tongue.  i cannot remember any that actually had it when they saw their doctor or dentist.

How long have you been here aak001? Saliva is not infectious.

sorry i also got this information from wikipidia ;) what about thik saliva we had a guy also ask about it last week i think?
