pain no swelling
got all symptoms after condom failed exposure but no fever ,now i have pain in armpits ,groin area but no swelling ,is this also lymhpdonopathy.does lymphanodopathy occure with out swelling also please answer.
i am here agian but to say this forum that with out test i am now sure that i am hiv + .because i experience all and more over what ever i read on net regarding hiv i experience all .now at present i have uncomfortable neck and more over little swelling behind right ear and at the end of jaw which is uncoimfortable also but little swelling which is tender after touching and also uncomfortable,more over when i am check other nodes in neck they come in my notice and are movable .as cervical lymph nodes is the clear indication of hiv ,not only this i experience swelling behind knee also and uncomfortable armpits ,i can not tell my parents that i am hiv + and more over i am first person in my whole area and state who is hiv positive as this is not in our area ,as i am out side very far from my area out of country i had first time sex with csw and it was my end of life .
Fever is very common for ARS. But ARS is not common in all infected. But many oif them have.
Still I dont know how to identify swollen nodes. But if you press and play with it ( searching for nodes) it will swell a bit and may have little pain. ( doctor told)

This could be due to anything, but hiv is not a likely cause. Did you continue to engage in intercourse after the condom broke? If so test if it was vaginal -or- anal penetration, if it was oral just due an std battery. dear all as i post here last time ,i had appointment with ENT doctor.she examine me and said u dont have lympnode in neck as i was not feeling comfortable ,she gave me some medicine like diclofenic etc ,after taking this for 5 days i was still same discomfortable neckagain i vist doctor she said u do x-ray ,

Kim, from what i've read here this sounds more like high-anxiety than anything else. I went through this myself and sympathize with you, but try to do your best not to go through the next 34 days scarring yourself with reads from the internet, try to do as much as you can to distract yourself from this thought pattern-i did the same thing as you and turned out to be negative after all,as i think you will as well. Try getting a legit massage, seeing a movie,spending time with some friends, ect,anything to put a break in your current train of thoughts Kim.

my son's experience has been posted before...so i'm not going to do that again. everyone is different and the severity or lack of ARS...will vary.

thank you very much liz for your reply .dear as i have seen one of your reply in which you have mentioned that your son who got golf ball like lump behind ear can u tell me more abt his symptoms ,and yaa ,that was i think parotid swelling ,as for as i am concern you are right i am spending much time to see internet for this and belive me what ever i am seeing i am getting that ,but till now got no fever and diherea,now at present i ahve uncomfortable neck and little uneasyness behind both ear now i am thinkg that i have parotid problem which is most common now in hiv new infection .and yaa i can not test right now coz i am in another country if i will talk about this or i founf + they will deport me so i am waiting up to june .
it is obvious by your posts that you are spending waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time searching the internet for symptoms.
i'm sorry that i dont know everything about your condom failure...but if you did have true failure...you need to test...plain and simple. the odds are in your favor but nothing trumps a test.
stop looking for things...just test so that you can put this behind you.

dear .teak .this is 50th day after expousre .i experience all most all symptoms but no fever at all even pain in groin and armpits ,but no swelling,

Okay so this was a relatively low risk Kim 81-i'd still say a test for good measure @ 3 months is i order just because the partner was of a high risk background, although i'd expect a negative result will be the case in my opinion. Take care man-and stay safe always...Try another brand of condoms as well for that matter-lubricant and the proper size as well my friend-okay good-luck man, i hope this was helpful...

I did'nt realize you were a male until is checked your profile-this brings your risk down to around low to medium depending on the risk level of the partner you were engaging in intercourse with and how long after the condom failed intercourse continued on. I'd suggest a test @ 3 months, this helps quell your fears of infection and will let you know whether you were at risk -or- not. Was the intercourse vaginal -or- anal? Male -or- female?
Regardless it systemic-all glands, all at once in some, but not all cases people may experience this once initially infected although it's not a means to and end-a test @ the 3 months mark can only determine your hiv status not any resulting symptoms that could be due anxiety -or- other illnesses.
