where is HIV patients more according to the stats...Pakistan or England???
In UK, about 50,000 people are estimated to have infection, and on ethird of them are not aware of their status. Here is the link from BBC, which gives details.

In a country of over 60 million polulation, this number is not that high and probably lower that anyother european counrty, I guess. It is well below 0.1%
By the way, what drives you to ask such kind of question ? No place is safe from HIV, its only you who can live safe and free of infection by following certain guidelines. People are healthy and safe in countries like South Africa.

The title of your thread attracted me for a prompt response. According to official statistics from Federal Minsitry of Health, number of HIV infetced people is less tha 5,000, in a country with total polulation of over 150 million.
However, some privately run NGO's working for awareness, do not agree with these numbers and estimate around 50,000 to 70,000. Never the less, even if we take higher limit of unofficial figure, population of infected perople is not that high and it is well within 0.05%. The main problem is, most infected people are either unaware of their status, or hide it from others.
In Pakistan, high risk group identified are as follows,
1. Injection Drug Users.
2. Homosexual pockets in north west of the country.
In addition to that, frequent travelling of less educated low profile businessmen to far east is another element of threat. They return home with infection without any check and hence may become potential transmitters. There was a good number of Pakistani workers deported from Dubai, after having been found HIV positive, certainly due to a very high risk prostitution industry there. The Sheikhs do not regularize and control the prostitution but deport the poor labor force,, so easy...
Generally, in Pakistan, sex is not an open subject to discuss, due to cultural and social constraints, which in a way quite dangerous. Open gay clubs and bars,and "living together" are the just concepts for Pakistanis, and they only heard about them, never practiced due to the same reason of social bindings. However, since the world is shrinking to a "global village", effects of cultural invasion through internet and cable TV have started appearing, which can not be avoided.
In this situation, there is an urgent need to educate young people to remain smart, be safe and live healthy.
Govenment of Pakistan runs 5 AIDS/HIV centres country wide, managed by qualified medical staff, where guidance is provided for prevention, free blood testing , counseling for infected people and availability of low cost HAART medication at a very low cost, or even free of cost to needy people.

It is definitely England. What i found out on the internet is that in Pakistan the disease is less however the actual figures cannot be known in the country as not a lot of people test for it.
But the approximation is 80 to 90 thousand in Pakistan, strange that aint to high.

It should be pakistan as far i know. India has now the highest number of HIV victims in the world.
Do you mean which country has more HIV positive people living in it? If so, I have no idea. Go the WHO (World Health Organization) website, which provides detailed statisitcs on HIV in every country.
