Your HIV-acquisition risk from this incident is so remote that it's essentially nonexistent.
This is what I explained to you. SO remote, not worth worrying about.
i will post different scenario but same situation....

why Dr. Bob and teak told to there client there is no risk for there situation? and now you told me that there is a small small theoretical risk? please answer
The only reason I say a small theoretical risk is going from the doctors forum. Teak may be able to give you a better insight as from his posts he knows alot about transmission risks.
If you are that worried and want PEP, contact your emergency department and they will tell you about the risks, I highly doubt they will consider PEP.
i think your answer is NO RISK?
I need a test because you told me theres a small theoretical risk in my situation?
There is a small small theorectical risk, but with the miniscule amount of blood that would come from spit (if any at all) would not justify a real risk. See the expert forums, there hasnt been a case of transmission this way from their knowledge. I see the only reason you think there might have been blood is because he went to the dentist the next day. Just paranoia.
Teak or Lizzie Lou are you there..i read the whole site and your answer is the assurance at its best...please
No risk or High Risk ?
I need to take a PEP?
I cant tell if theres a blood in a spit..because it direct hit my eyes and also it is spit spray only...
i just want to clarify if theres a blood it is a hiv risk?
Spit is not a risk for HIV. If the blood had spit in it? Wouldnt you notice if the spit had blood in it? There would need to be a great deal of blood present to justify a real risk.
Paranoid I beleive. All the best.
