Your question was answered. You don't like the answer, then you go post on the Drs. Forum. 15 dollars for each question.
whats the answer??????????????elisa????????????/is this the answer???
And you got your answer, if you want to argue it, then you don't have a point. Go to an infectious disease specialist.
before 3 hours I asked teak about what kind of pcr is the abbott real time m2000 that checks out every known group and subtype .he didnt answer. That s the point Daze!I am trying to find a test that definitely rules out this infection.
You were given an answer by knowledgeable members of this site. If you think you already have it figured out then why go back and forth on an internet site? If you have a concern or question, especially a technical one like yours, then make an appointment with a infectious disease doctor. Otherwise what's the point?

I dont want to argue with anyone.I just want the truth!!and my health in order not to expose this illness to anybody.
This link says that group N wasnt detected by elisa but by pcr and viral culture
Just goes to show you how much you know. The first case of group N was found by an ELISA test. There has only been 7 cases of Group N. Those cases are all in Cameroon and you don't live in Cameroon. So take it elsewhere.
Ok thank you anyway! my physician told me to take a western blot 6 month post exposure despite all the risks of false positive.fortunately it was negative but i concern about false negatives due to group N rarity. thats why i am looking for a test that detects it.however many thanks!
Maybe someone else can answer your question. I cannot.
That s the reason i m looking for a pcr dna that detects it !do u think i wanna throw 300 euros just for fun?
if your encounter was unprotected, I'm not qualified to offer any advice as to what type of test might be available....
Guys I really have problem here. I had vaginal sex with a Gabonese woman..so what do u think?do i have to?
From wikipeida
Group N - This group, discovered in 1998, has only been seen in Cameroon and is extremely rare.
You be the judge if you need Group N testing or not.
elisa is not able to do detect group N ask cdc !
what test should someone take to rule out infection of group N?????please teak!
PCR DNA tests are not diagnostic tests.
