You don't ask any more questions after you were advised that you didn't have a risk. The answers don't change. You didn't have a risk and all your other questions are irrelevant to your situation.

i see , so how does one ask questions without getting these messages , no offence but it seems if you ask a question and someone posts a response any further post by the questioner gets a warning , no chance for dialog which is relevent to the question

thanks for the replys, as far as a risk it would be a zero , protected vaginal , oral , i fingered this woman who i would belive is high risk compaired to a majory of women her age i did however have a day old (approx) wound on the finger but as we know this dosent change anything, i really havent thought much of the issue aside from seeing a post where a person asked the doctor about petachiea i looked it up and i have what i would consider petschiea they are multiple under the skin sores  and small veins are branch off or a couple of them they are however pin head sized ,but they are not in great numbers but i have noticed new ones in areas where i had none, which concerned me .

i havent tested due to the fact it would be pointless inregards to this "exposure" and i know i was negative prior to this occasion, but when i noticed them i recalled the post inregards to petichiea and hiv as well as some websites refer to it as one possible issue due to hiv,

i know this is a long run on sentence heh and if you made it though thanks for stickin in there iam heading to the doctor tommorow actually and this will be the main reason for the visit since iam sure this is not something to ignore. once again thankyou much for the help and attention .

No, the "blood disorders" that cause petechiae are not at all like HIV.  They are actually very tiny hemorrhages under the skin (broken capillaries) that can be caused by trauma....in some instances severe vomiting or coughing can cause facial petechiae.

In terms of blood disorders, petechiae are caused by thrombocytopenia, or a low platelet count.

Several conditions and blood disorders can cause thrombocytopenia...but typically it is not common in HIV patients.

The presence of petechiae is certainly NO indication of HIV infection whatsoever.

Sometimes, people can misinterpret other conditions, ie rashes, rosacea...for petechiae.  If you think you have petechiae, you would need to see your doctor for a definitive diagnosis, and for a cause to be found.

Hope this helps...but again, in a nutshell,  petechiae has nothing to do with HIV.

hiv can never be diagnosed depending on the clinical picture alone ...as it has no unque set of symptoms .sometimes ACUTE PHASE of the HIV infection passes UNnoticed...and the only presenting complains are its complications (whether pulmonary, skin ,,,,complications)which occurs long time away from catching the infection ..
so the only reliable way to dx it is the hiv test
