please make my worries go away
Hi,i have posted once before. I assure you this will be my last.i will break it up. Exposure- sucked man for 5 minutes or so, also slight fingering, no ejaculation from him. Asked him status he looked me in the eye and said negative. This took place at 2am on a friday. Saturday around 11am feel one off popping sensation in mouth. Following tuesday i felt a stinging burning sensation under armpit, diarrohea also starts. At this point i started reading up on hiv. 9 days post exposure and my appetite completely gone anf diarrohea like churning in stomach starts. It was in december and our neighbours had flu. at this point i had swollen glands under arms and in neck. Tested for mono which came back fine. Laid out in bed a week unable to eat, convinced i was dying after the week went to another doctor, he made me strip off completely and checked every gland, none swollen. After going home i noticed a pinkish rash on upper arms after a herald patch on my face. 2 weeks after i got sick my partner had diarrohea, loss of appetite and a very dry cough, also swollen glands below and some discharge one time. In the 10 months since all this occured i havent been sick much, in the last 2 months she has had bad diarrohea and discharge which doctor said was ok. She regulary wakes up with a sore throat but my 3 year old son also has bad cough/ sore throat. Please help me put this out of my mind. Please dont just say "zero risk" and leave it at that. I cant talk to anybody else about this, the thought that i have practically murdered my childs mother and deprived her the chance to see her son grow is killing me. Please could you tell me if anybody has ever had a smilar experience, i am a rational level headed guy, i know there should be no worry with oral but i cant shake this theory from my heaf. It consumes me every day, every ache or pain my partner has i make an excuse to go to the shop so i can google it on my phone. Please dont get impatient witj me o know i am waffling on. When i have insertive sex with my girlfriend i don't ejaculate anyway. It is such a long shot that i not only caught hiv but that i then gave it to my girlfriend so quickly surely? Yes,we do get alot of posts about oral sex and if it,s a mode of Hiv transmission.The fact is that it,s not.Your anxiety is the cause of all those symptoms you are having.
Hi get it right thanks for that. Can i ask you please, is this a scenario you get asked about all the time? Is it just irrational? Am i clinging to every cough ache and pain and allowing my anxiety ti distort the facts?
Absolutely zero risk from oral sex or fingering for Hiv infection.Your safe and you can,t infect your partner with a virus that you don,t have yourself.Try and move on from this incident.
