positive then Negative

Dear Doctor

I'm really worried and can't sleep for the last 2 and half months

I went to a dentist on the 17th of Oct 09 and I'm not sure of his Hygiene :

I had HIV rapid test 3 weeks later = positive
I had ELISA  Test 3 weeks later Negative
I had another rapid test 3 weeks and 2 days later = Negative
I had ELISA  Test 8 weeks later = Negative
I had PCR & W.B 9 weeks later = Negative

I had ELISA  Test 3 months and 1 weeks later = Negative

What is my situation and Is this test conclusive or do I need to repeated again  as I'm really worried about the 1st time when had first HIV rapid test  and came positive and I'm afraid as may be the virus is in my blood and will appear again in the future.

Please please I need your help and advise.

Dear Freinds

I do have a question so i have been positive  for the frist Rapid test and I took 1000 mg (1g)of Vitamin C one day before that test  Can vitamin C hide the virus and not make visible to the test and Can I pass the disease to my wife even if the test is not showing it and If I stop taking vitamin C now will I encounter the risk of getting a positive HIV test result?

your dr. is a quack, WHO is not hiv educated ! ! !

FIRST OFF...YOU WERE NEVER AT RISK, SO YOU CANT HAVE HIV FROM THAT FACT ALONE.

SECONDLY...YOU HAVE MANY NEGATIVE TESTS TO PROVE THIS POINT.

NOW MOVE ALONG...YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV.

Thank you very much Lizzi and Teak , I was really worried because when I did the first rapid test and came positive the  doctor requested me to come back in 1 year time to do another test but fortunately I did the other tests because it will be impossible to wait for 1 year to find if I have HIV or Not

your first test was a false positive...

your subsequent tests PROVE that you do not have hiv.  further testing is NOT warranted.
