possible exposure??

Female . about a year ago i had unprotected sex with a man. Although it was complete sex, we were having some problems so he couldnt really "get it up" all the way. He only went in for about 2-3 minutes at most, no ejaculation. In the conversations we had before he had told me that he had been tested and knew that he did not have HIV. I still worry because after then about 2-3 months after I got a really bad cold with a sore throat also since then I've had one swollen tonsil. I dont know if that is a sign or not. I do not talk to that guy anymore and am scared to get tested. Also, 6 months after months after my possible exposure, I got a stomach virus and was in the hospital for a week. My CBC tests showed that my white blood cells were normal. Does this mean I am fine? I still have that one swollen tonsil. Do you think that the guy might not have known that he had HIV and that is what is causing my swollen tonsil? Please respond I am very very worried. Some positive feedback would be appreciated.

You will not know your status until you test. A CBC will not tell you.

It is very unlikly that you have HIV. from that incident.
Swollowen tonsil after 2-3 months with some common cold does not suggest hiv.

Many people has stomach problems in thire life due to various reasons , does it
mean that they all have HIV ! no.

Any way just go and get test for HIV. sure you will get a negative result.

Every body going to test for HIV will have tension in thire mind, that is usaual.

GET TESTED and post your result that may help others right.

You had a low risk - made even lower by no ejaculation.

Chances are very good he does not have HIV anyway.

A year is a long time to stress over this incident - get tested and remove all this anxiety. I think everyone's mouth would drop if you tested positive over this.

You can expect a negative result.
