possible hiv/hepititis exposure?

Whenever I go to the bathroom in a public place instead of sitting directly on the toliet I use my hands as a barrier. Yesterday when I was in the bathroom (public bathroom) I put my hands down and sat and realized the seat was wet. I got up to see what it was and realized it was blood. I wouldn't be so nervous but then I realized I had a fresh cut on my thumb that was very deep and it got direct contact with the blood. My question is, is there any way I could have contracted hiv or any type of hepititis? Should I get tested?

does the same go with hepititis? I know the hiv virus dies within 20 minutes but I heard hepititis a,b,c can live 2 weeks on surface.
