primary infection

Hello,
I have a question relating to primary infection. About 7-10 days after I was in contact with another´s man blood during a fight on the street during which I injured my pinky joint (small scratch not deep not long) I experienced these symptoms: fever around 100 Fahrenheit, tiredness, headache, muscle pain and also ONE small ulcer on my lips although I think this ulcer is there because of food (I suffer ulcers after eating tomatoes). These symptoms disappeared after few days but again returned after about 4 days again. I don´t have and didn´t have any sore throat, cough, rash, swollen glands/nodes or loss of appetite. Also, few days after the fight happened I went with few of my friends on a small road trip. We travelled a lot, often from sea to hills so there were big temperature differences. I remember that already on our road trip I had these headaches and muscle pain (not sure about fever because I didn´t have thermometer). I also suffer the pain of my chest when breathing deeply or swallowing. My doctor told me today after the X-Ray of my lungs that he can see some problems with bronchi and that my symptoms could relate to it. Do you think these could be symptoms of primary infection or rather it is some kind of flue like illness?
Thank you for your answer.

Good work fella.

There is no way on earth that your symptoms are anything to do with HIV.

You are all good to move on :)

Best Wishes

Hey don't worry about the fever, it is nit relevant.

You really did not catch HIV, even if the guy had it (which he most probably did not) there is no way you could catch it.

You really are fine buddy, take some medication to get the fever under control and drink plenty of water.

You really did no catch HIV from the above buddy!

Best Wishes.

I am afraid because of the fever...i never had 100 Fahrenheit and more and it lasts already for a few days with no reason so I am thinking of all causes it could have.

Hi three,

Your symptoms are nothing like typical ars symptoms, they certainly don't come and go either.

When blood leaves the body and hits the air, the HIV virus is rendered inactive.

What you have had is a no risk situation followed by a bug of some sort.

Rest assured you did not catch HIV through this.

Best Wishes

Ps-ignore symptoms - they don't mean anything especially for you!
