scared more than ever

ok, 4 weeks ago I had sex at a spa with an asian sex worker. MISTAKE OF A LIFETIME! I did have a condom on but it was dark and could not tell if it was faulty. in the middle of having sex she gave me a hand job very hard. It made the ring at the bottom of the condom rub my skin raw. I was drunk and remember her pulling the condom off me at the end. I have been so freaked out about losing my family that I lost about 5-6 pounds the first week or so but now I'm putting it back on. I was tested for std's, hepatitis, and hiv after 14 days from exposure. Everything came back negative. I went to see the doctor the next week since I was still freaked out. The Doctor told me i did not need to test again that she didn't see a need to and that the hiv test showed that I do not have hiv. I did after two weeks get a swollen throat and still have it after two weeks but feels like it is going away. Other than that I have had so much anxiety that I'm so scared to get another test since I had the swollen throat. When I think about it it is hard to sleep. Although when I got the tests back I slept so much better but now I'm reading that the hiv test really could not pick up the hiv after two weeks.

What are my chances of having hiv?
Isn't the throat problem a sign?
Since my penis got rubbed raw towrds the base of the condom, are my chances of getting hiv increased?
Any advise would be great, thank you. This is causing me all kinds of problems, I cannot even concentrate at work all I do is think about my family. Thank you!

8 pounds at 203 weeks? Has nothing at all to do with HIV.

I went to see a doctor about my sore throat today and he prescribed me medicine and did say there was a white spot on the back of my throat and not to worry too much. Have you heard of this as a sign?
Also, the only thing that scares me now is that my weight loss that has occurred, it really about 8 pounds but I have been very very nervous and had major anxiety I think the worst is going to happen. Would wight loss at 203 weeks occur as a sign as well?
Please answer I know I said it was my last post but do respect your thoughts on this, thanks

Hang in there ted. Going through the same thing. Life is too good to risk ourselves with this sh_t.   I imagine the stress will be there until the 3 month test even if no real risk....

Like you have been told had the condom failed you would have known. You do not need the condom to cover your whole penis to protect you from HIV. Had you had a risk you cannot go by symptoms and also you wouldn't have just one symptom. There is no risk of contracting HIV with an abrasion and a hand job. A two-week test will tell you about your exposures up to three months before your test. Which is not a total waste because it lets you know if you have ever been infected previously..

I understand and appreciate your feedback more than you know. The only thing bothering me in my mind is the swollen throat...it has been two weeks. Do other symtptoms usually appear at the same time?

Even if the condom rubbed my penis raw where it did and the condom only covered about half of me that shouldn't make me worried?

Last Question and you will not hear from me again, would an hiv test at 2 weeks be somewhat effective? Thanks again

You don't need the lights on to know if the condom failed.
