sister testted positive

So today I was talking to my and she showed me that she did a tested positive for HIV. she is pregnant n was order to take an hiv test she did 2 n one came back positive has anyone encountered this with pregnant woman....HIV-1 WESTERN BLOT WAS NEGATIVE....HIV-2 AB W/RFX WAS REACTIVE CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVISE TO SHARE WITH HER

So dose that mean she's negative

Teak she just had those 2 hiv test done n one came back positive...liz her doctor said that she is 99% sure that she is negative but she re order the test

a western blot is done on all positive test results for confirmation.  as teak stated...the western blot results trumps all.

It's common for pregnant women to obtain a false positive. Her WB trumps any other test. She doesn't have HIV.
