Do I have a risk of transmitting HIV?

I am concerned and want to know about this.
About a week ago, I was voluteering at a non-profit medical facility as a phlebotomist.
After I drew a couple of samples from this patient, in which I have no idea whether s/he is HIV+, there were a couple of small blood drops on the table (two or three). I know it was stupid of me, but I was not thinking straight and wiped those blood drops with a alcohold pad w/o having a glove on. Once it was done, then I realize that I have a blood (think it was blood + alcohol from a alcohol pad) on the tip of my middle finger, and the nail (and in b/w). So I went to sink and washed my hands throughly using soap and disinfectants. I didn't have any open wounds, but still not sure it was before or while washing my hands, I felt a little sharp pain when you try to open a space between your skin and the nail. I am worried. If that patient was HIV+, do I have a risk of transmitting HIV? Please let me know.

you had no risk whatsoever,

you had all the necessary precautions, and there was no blood to blood interaction, add to that, that you used alcohol wipes and the fact that HIV can never live for long outside a host, thankfully.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child

You had no risk because HIV becomes inactive & unable to infect once exposed to air--the outer layer of the viral particle begins to crack & thus even if this blood where to find a point of entry the virus would never be able to latch onto the t--cells.
