symptoms

Hi,

Can anyone at least tell me if these are symptoms after exposure???????????

After ten days or so I developed a slight cough, which has developed into a heavier cough with blocked/runny nose and some phlegm. I had a sore/stiff jaw too and my ears felt blocked. Still have a cough after three weeks.

Are these symptoms?

Please respond

Sad and lonely

Please everyone, BE SAFE.

Hi

Thanks for reply. This was my original post.

Hi to everyone,

Is there anyone out there who has been exposed to HIV through vaginal sex, i am the guy, and who has not contracted. At the time i now know i had chlamydia.

Rest assured i know how stupid i have been and what i deserve for my actions.

But please is there anyone out there who has been exposed and not gotten HIV.

P.S. I had unprotected sex with an african woman, living in western europe, who assures me she is not HIV+ but there is no way i would believe.

Not everyone that has unprotected sex with a positive person contracts HIV on the first exposure. If you had unprotected anal or vaginal sex then test. 6 weeks and if that one is negative get your conclusive at test at 3 months.

Thanks so much for the encouragement.

Did you read I also had chlamydia at the time?

Greatly increases chances doesnt it???????

And the timing of my cold is a little too coincidental. Would you possibly agree?

And thanks. This is the closest I have come to talking to anyone about this.

No because a cold is not a symptom.

Thanks again.

Can i be a little clearer with my "cold" symptoms.

Started with a dry cough from chest. A week later had developed into a more typical chesty cough, but still dry-ish, but also with blocked/runny nose and getting up some phlegm. In between had a stiff jaw, and felt swollen around the neck (lymph nodes??) and sore ears.

Any ideas of the increased chance when a person already has an STI.??

I know it might seem i just want to contradict everything you say, but i just need to be prepared for the worst. I know i am going to struggle accepting it if it is. I am 29, generally fit and healthy, and colds arent usually a problem.

Thanks Teak
