teak

hey teak! just wondering if you could spare a moment
im on my 7th week now and theres still this nagging rash that won't go away..basically I have a definite heat rash  (red and a bit sandpaperish sometimes itchy when hot) at the base of my neck and 2/3 of my upper chest and a few faint pimples here and there at the centre which don't itch at all..does this sound like an ars rash at all? 7 weeks since the brief exposure and i've had no flu or feverish symptoms so maybe i can rule out a viral infection as the cause of my rash? in addition, the tiny pimple size bump at the bottom of my jaw i thought was a swollen lymph node was actually more of a pimple upon closer inspection. rash has been there for a week and a half now since 5 weeks 4 days..ars or not?

i feel completely fine otherwise and its only the rash that won't go away. tested negative at 4 weeks prior to condom slippage (not sure whether its inside or upon withdrawal but it wasn't long).

As you were told get your 3 months conclusive test. More than likely you lost it on withdraw.

thanks for the quick reply! i def know ill get tested at 3 months but I just need to know this isn't ars to calm my nerves down..the only consolation i have right now is that its already been 7 weeks and still no fever or anything...and i just need to know the rash does not independantly suggest ars beyond this 6 week timeframe..what do you think?
this is the last message and I just need the reassurance

Rash if someone has them with ARS are flat and don't itch. They come on a 2-4 weeks post exposure and last from 1-2 weeks and are gone. They don't come,go and return.

sorry teak just thought I would show you a picture for confirmation

basically it looks like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Contact_dermatitis_around_wound.jpg

without the wound here..its those small pimples..im not sure whether thats macropapular (sp?) but its more faint than red..only a small cluster in the middle of my chest but no on my back or stomach...i have a heat rash above it.

a simple yes or no would end it..no more from me
