Index values increase and decrease all day long if the index value stays below 1 then you are negative.

How come ? I called cdc yesterday and they said the same word that in a very rare case it may take up to six month. And after a big dicussion they said this sentance is relating to normal hiv antibody screening test
The CDC still say it may take up to 6 month or do they change it? .... and one last doubt about the index value increasing

Thanks for reply mr.teak but you know the 6 month window period stuff + the rise of index value make some clash on my mind + and the existance of some symptome ..
You have tested negative outside the window period. You do not have HIV.
