what is a duo test?

The DUO test is an HIV test that looks for antibodies for HIV-1 and HIV-2 and also looks for evidence of the p24 protein which is on the surface of the HIV virus particle.

at 105 days post unprotected exposure I tested negative with a elfa test named vidas duo. Am I negative? Symptoms are still bothering me

Patience!  We are not here every second of every day!

The official guideline is a US guideline, which is what we go by on MedHelp.  Other countries may vary a bit, but the fact remains that the current available tests are very sensitive and can detect antibodies much faster than ini the past.  Most newly infected people test + within weeks, they don't even require the whole 3 month period to test +.

You are overthinking this.  Let it go.  You don't have HIV.
