troubled thinking of urine burn, very mild sore throat, now rash
Hello Dr. normally I wouldn't think much of this incident.
So several weeks ago I got couple of lapdances (please don't dismiss this case). This time she left a spot of menstrual blood on my pants that went thru the other side. That freaked me out and messed up my sleeping for that night. Next day I had some burn sensation when I starting to pee for the next 2 days as well as discomfort in my abdomen. I can attribute my abdomen discomfort to being nervous wreck, but not sure what caused the pee burn, but that just got better on its own after 2 days.
Two weeks later I got very mild sore throat on one side that lasted a week, but it was so mild, most of time I hardly felt it. I don't know if that was just some weird post-nasal drip or the crazy hot weather that time. But no fever or any other ARS symptom. I know it wasn't covid (I tested for that)
Then maybe 33 days later I got a rash on my stomach, slightly to left and above my belly button. It's red/pink about inch wide and maybe half-inch tall. Sometimes it itches, but most of the time it doesn't. It may have a millimeter size bump in the middle (but hard to say, it's not obvious).
It almost looks like dry skin rash since as it seem to parallel my stomach folds (but is not inside my stomach skin fold). It's not winter time in a dry air home. (And for dry skin stomach rash, I'd normally get more than one)
The rash was worse 2nd day (seem to grow). But after trying not to scratch it and washing with soap and cold water, it seems to get better on this 3rd day (but i don't know for sure). It makes me wonder if it's an ARS rash. I don't seem to have any other symptoms
I know it's been said no penetration, no HIV so that makes me feel better. But thinking back to the pee burning, the very mild sore throat and now this rash has got my anxiety going.
1. Is there any explanation to the pee burn? I thought maybe I got a UTI from the mess of ejaculation in my pants with semi rough dances. I'm a male (I just don't think lapdances could ever do that, but I've had a UTI before). I also wonder even if it's a UTI does it matter, since I'm told a UTI is from my own bacteria so if it were a UTI then no way does it come from the dancer? I don't even know if pee burn can come from anxiety.
2. The rash I don't understand it. Does it sound like ARS rash.
3. I plan on doing a 4th gen rapid finger prick test, 1 day shy of 6weeks. Do I even need to?

COMMUNITY LEADER
Sexual transmission of HIV requires unprotected penetration. There's not really anything else to say about that. Of course this means your rash has nothing to do with ARS or HIV. Burning pee isn't a symptom of HIV anyway - it's often a symptom of a urinary tract infection, though.

UTI is something I'd like to talk about (if this is a forum for that). I know women get them more likely than men. (I'm a male) I know woman can get them from their own bacteria from all the bumping of genitalia around during, some of her anal bacteria might move to a woman's vag. I wasn't sure how uti works for a male. I've read that a uti is not transmissible (seems odd to me, since it's bactera).
I never understood UTI which seems like it an STD but kind of like one you give to yourself? I see a lot more info online but it mainly applies to women. If a uti is something you really give yourself I suppose I wouldn't have to think of a woman passing it to me, so by extension there just was no way a virus like HIV being passed. But like I said UTIs seem so confusing as a male.

You're wasting your time still thinking about "ARS" from a non-ARS encounter. No one can diagnose hiv from symptoms so no one here pays attention to them and you shouldn't waste your time studying "hiv symptoms" either.

Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air (maybe cuts, maybe blood, etc. ). You will be happy to learn that you had no risk, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv - there are only 3 ways to get hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
HIV is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the WORST that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event. hiv prevention is straightforward since there are only 3 ways you can become infected, so next time you wonder if you had a risk, ask yourself this QUESTION. "Did I do any of the 3?" Then after you say "No, I didn't" you will know that it's time to move on back to your happy life.
No one got hiv from what you did during 40 years of hiv history and no one will get it in the next 40 years of your life either. You can do what you did any time and be safe.
Your "symptoms" seem minor. They mainly cleared up on their own suggests those ones were in your imagination.
See doc if concerned instead of wasting more time and energy on the wrong track thinking it's hiv.

In no way did I reference oral or kissing so why are you mentioning saliva?
I don't know why you're telling me about cuts when I just talked about menstrual blood (not blood from a wound), so I wasn't even thinking about someone being cut
This just seem like a blanket reply compared to other answers where the points or symptoms are addressed in other threads I've seen.
I heard much about fragile HIV, it's just my symptoms that I was concerned about, that I was trying to get assurance that they shouldn't mean anything or get some explanation of them. I doubt my sensations were imaginary. Burning pee and rash (which I can obviously see) is not imaginary.
