used soap for lub during sex and now i have pain

Hi, my encounter with my partner was about 3 months ago and this is what happened...
We were having sex with a condom, then it broke, so we used body soap from my shower as lube...
Ever since then, I have had a pain in my penis, near the tip, and pain in my testicles. About a month later I started noticing a pain in my pelvis region... All of these pains are off and on and come and go. Sometimes not for a couple days, then comes back for a day or so..
I had a gonorrhea and chlamydia test done and they came back negative. My partner got tested as well and she said she got tested and came back negative too.

Can someone please help me and offer some advice or knowledge about this?? I'm deeply worried and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about this..It's kind of put my life on hold right now :(

Thank you in advance...

Well, a lot of people in your situation (condom break) that post on here seem to have a heightened awareness of genital sensations afterward. It's as if their mind becomes so tuned on their genitals, they are picking up normal background sensations that they wouldn't have noticed before.

I'm not saying this necessarily applies to you- as Liz said only your personal physician can sort that out. But you should definitely share that info with your physician.

Do you notice the pain when you are busy or with co-workers or with friends? Or, does it tend to occur more when you are alone and ruminating?

no one here can diagnose your symptoms over the internet or take the place of seeing your physician.

if you had unprotected sex...you test !

Can't you get tested at your local health department?

soap, used as a lubricant, is a known irritant.  not the smartest idea.

Yes, I understand that, and I'm going to get tested once my insurance kicks back in...

But for the mean time, could you just please tell me - does this sound like hiv symptoms to you? or an STD? or a bacterial infection?

Thank you so much!!!
