relax...your test is a good indication of your status and it's highly unlikely that it will change.
test at 3 months so that you can get a conclusive test result and move on with your life.
HOW ABOUT WEARING A CONDOM. SEX LASTS A FEW MINUTES...HIV LASTS A LIFETIME ! ! ! ! !
I just picked up the results and there was no explanation verbally. The paper says:
HIV AB, HIV 1/HIV 2, EIA W/REFL to HIV 1 WB HIV 1/2 EIA AB SCREEN
Non-Reactive In Range Non-Reactive Reference Range. A Nonreactive HIV-1/2 antibody result does not exclude HIV infection since the time frame for seroconversion is variable. If acute HIV infection is suspected, antibody retesting and nucleic acid amplicfication testing is recommended.
Anyone care to interpret? I know that non-reactive means negative, correct?
But Vance, you don't think this is conclusive? You mean I have to go throught this stress in a few weeks again?
No, nothing you have said gives an indication to HIV, but then again symptoms dont give an indication.
Right, but do you think the white patches could be related to the excessive antibiotics given that long ago. I did develop a vaginal yeast infection the day after the antibiotic injection and was prescribed a med for that - cleared it right up.
I'm just freaking out, like everyone else. I know that only the test will tell me for sure, but I couldn't find a story that matched my symptoms, so I decided to post.
thanks
I think that your test result will not be conclusive but will give you a decent indication. Symptoms do not show the next day and you can never use symptoms to diagnosis or give an indication of HIV.
