waiting too late to test?

Is it possible to wait to late to test for HIV? Can you be so ill that your tests repeatedly come back negative? I feel like I have shards of glass in my throat and the large white sore, spot on my tonsil will not go away after three different antibiotics. This is after a nasty bout of shingles for the first time in my life. I don't have strep throat or mono but my throat has never felt so sore before in my life. I am sure I have late stage HIV but test negative, is this not a possibility? I have run out of options, I need help

Your test result was reliable. You do not have to worry about seroreversion- it is not a possibility for you. Work with your doctor on the cause of your symptoms- they have nothing to do with HIV.

How can you be so sure in light of what is happening to my body? My wife also developed shingles and is unwell. It all points to HIV

IT DOES NOT ALL POINT TO HIV.

If you want to relate shingles to anything you relate it to chickenpox. Those that haven't had chickenpox don't get shingles.
