what do you all think?

hey all.  great site. Everyone seems very knowledgable...2 questions for you all if you dont mind.

1. Has anyone heard of Quest Diognostics losing a lot of labwork due to having quick but unreliable results in their labs?  I took a test about 7 weeks after 2 risky exposures - Risky to me (unprotected receptive oal sex on a male prostitute without ejaculation) and I am hearing that Quest cannot be relied upon.

2. How accurate are the Orasure tests.  I went to the GMHC (Gay Mens Health Crisis for those of you in NY it is wonderful) and took the Orasure - where they swab your gums and the results come back same day.  That test was taken at about 13 weeks.

Both tests were neg but I always still have a lingering doubt.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Where'd you hear that about Quest? From what I understand, Quest is highly respected.

Why do you have a lingering doubt? 12 weeks is conclusive and you had an approved test at 13 weeks.
