what does the patient value means on hiv 4th generation test

i wana know what does the patient value means on hiv duo test..
i tested with 4th generation at 13 days my rate was .24 non reactive
then on 17th days te rate jumped up to .43 non reacive
should i be worried, why there is so much

Once again, as long as you are under 1.0, you do not have to worry.

thank you for your reply. but there has to be an explanation why does the value change every single time?
why does it goes up and comes down so often.
and the chances of 17day 4th generation test turning positive are how much??
also sure i ll retest every week till the next 12 weeks bur for my anixty now please answer the above questions

Hi. The value means nothing as long as it is negative. It will always change.

Your 17 days negative 4th gen is a good indication that you are hiv negative as p24 ag is detectable by now but as it peeks between 4 to 5 weeks so you are advised to test with a 4th gen DUO after 28 days.
