whiteness in mouth, throat, that comes and goes...ARS, late/early HIV?

Hey guys,

So, 4-5 weeks ago the left and right side of my throat was lined with white spotting.  I wrote this last week, but I'll explain again in brief summary: went to doctor, he said it looked like "mild thrush," while my Strep test came back negative.

Last week the white stuff went away. But today it's back.  This is FREAKING ME OUT

I'm wondering, because I'm almost 100% certain ARS doesn't act this way, and I had no other symptoms, no fever, no rash, etc (other than swollen lymph nodes and lethargic) but could this be early HIV symptoms? Like a few months into it...or is there such a thing?

I'm curious and hopeful, yet very scared.

ok, well, I feel like I do have a risk.  And I recall that, in a round about way, HIV symptoms used to be discussed on here.

regardless of exposure, what is the norm on this?  Do symptoms of HIV come randomly?  Is there a timeframe?!

What was your exposure & have you had a test??

I had every symptom going incuding lots of oral thrush, do you know that Steroids, Antibitoics & stress can cause this?

Thank you.  I'm pretty well versed in my ARS knowledge at this point...

My main wonder, question and concern is....HIV symptoms.  Lets say one has had it for a few months, would WHITENESS in the mouth, off and on, that lasts for 2 weeks at a time, be a symptom?  I've read that THRUSH is a symptom in advance stages.  I know that wouldn't be possible for me because I was tested back in August, which came back negative.
