Sudden hair fall after dengue?

I had dengue three months back. Got recovered in August. (Even platelet count was 12,000 one day) Suddenly during October, I started experiencing sudden and considerable hair fall. I could see a lot of hair on my palm whole taking bath. I used a vegan shampoo and serum to avoid it. It was effective, but only for 3 days. After that, it continued. Now it's November mid and still I have that issue. I switched places during September and October. The time I first noticed it during October, I was in new Delhi (The pollution peak time). I thought my hair was a victim of that. However, as my hair fall was a sudden event and after reading a lot about telogen effluvium reported by dengue patients after 2 months of recovery, my doubt has gotten stronger.

What should I do? I see thinner hair on the crown area.
When should I see new hair growing considerably?
