Hakim programmable shunt and airport scanner

My daughter has a Hakim VP programmable shunt since year 2011.she never go for any flight as we are not sure whether the airport scanner will affect the setting of this programmable shunt or nt. As she is a special kid with trauma brain injury when she was two mths old,  she can't talk and can't tell us if there is any uncomfortable with her shunt... So I wanna make sure will the setting change by airport scanner before I can bring her overseas...thanks
