lost sense of smell

I am a Diabetic. I had a blackout due to low blood sugar level and collapsed hitting the back of my head on the floor
CT Scans show no internal injuries but i still get Head aches and sense of smell. This incident occured 2 weeks ago.
Is there an explanation for the loss of smell.
thanks

Yes there is explanation and please check out this link in this site.  It could be due to olfactory system damage.   Since yours is only 2 weeks ago there is a chance it may come back once you start healing.  It is unpredictable and keep up the hope.
