need health insurance - HELP

I am having a major joint pain recently (3 months). I am not working currently and I had never had health insurance. I am suspecting that I might have RA. I am seeing reumathologist this Friday. I wonder where I can find a good health insurance? I will most likely need it for arthritis managment soon because it is so expensive (RA drugs). Does anyone can help me? Thanks in advance

I recommend that you talk to a licensed insurance agent. You can find find one in many websites that offer health insurance. At most of the sites that sell health insurance over the internet do not require you purchase from them, I recommend to you that you talk them to find out what is best in your case. This will cost you nothing and you can gather a lot of information and then make the right decision. Take a look at websites such as www.ehealthinsurance.com
www.vitalonehealth.com
www.oxoniainsurance.com
They all offer health plans in the state of Florida
Good Luck!

Dear veronica71,

Once you start seeking advice about a condition, that condition would be considered pre-existing and may not be covered by a future insurance plan. However since you are not working you may qualify for subsidized programs that are designed for low income residents. To find out if you qualify for one of these programs in Florida, call Medicaid office at 850-488-3560 or visit them at www.fdhc.state.fl.us.Medicaid .
Meanwhile if you are prescribed medications & need help paying for them, visit www.needymeds.com for assistance.

Sincerely,

Amir Mostafaie
